i think the biggest problem online, with any site, is the idea of "something new and unique." Most of the time when we picture it in our heads, it just doesn't look right, but once we see it coming together or see it in person, it looks much better.

I'm with thursday. Do you have the paint code for the orange? If you do go get that mixed and have your dad touch up the front. Then you can get rid of that thing, (no more zorro) FIX THAT FIRST. THEN move to a BAMF hood. If I were you i would invest in a cowl hood later. Or like this car.......



Personally i think thats the hottest hood for a camaro. Other then the SS hoods. I would go for this one first.

Well, the LCA's are coming because I get HORRIBLE wheel hop, the STB and Subframe connectors because the car tends to sway around side to side a lot on the highway at any speed above 80 mph, and the rest is because Camaro's are expected to handle like a BAMF. . . lol I would like a drop and a kit, but I'm willing to settle for a new set of stock height or 1/2" drop coils and a kit or just a 2" drop, either or, I'm not too attached to either.

Hey, I am new to the site and I just read through all 18 pages or so of this thread. I think the idea you had for the hood is great, but now you need to take it a step further and make a mold and splash you a fiberglass version of it. Much lighter, easier to make functional and there won't be any issues with cracking........just my 2 cents.

That would be pretty cool, but I just don't have the time or money to do it. I still have a little work to do on the hood before it's ready for paint, and the Camaro is the next project on the block. . . Paintjob is coming soon, I'm about a month away from buying the paint.

before you paint that hood you might want to consider it though. Its a good looking hood, like some have said once you pay for the mold and certain things youre only going to make profit on it from there.

Yea Nick I agree with them..BIG PROFIT..I'll be your first customer lol..but you would only gain if you made a mold, then you can afford to paint your car a diff color each week

I have approx 10 gallons of resin into my mold, plus the fiberglass and some balsa core, (I work on boats), some body filler and tooling gel, one or two hoods would pay for all my materials and then its profit from there..........
