I think it will look good with a good paint job and some sort of accent to make it flow well with the rest of the car. My only main concern is that the hood is steel, isn't it? How well will the fiberglass and bondo work with the steel before it starts to crack? That's the only thing I'm worried about with seeing it, but I think it looks really good and I give you a lot of credit for doing something yourself while people told you not to do it. That takes guts, and I think in the end it'll pay off.- Brian Meissen

It won't crack, B. It's riveted on. It's not going anywhere. lol I like it a lot too, I'm going to try and figure out what I'm going to do as far as stripes go, if I follow the cowls back, they will be almost 2' wide, and that's just too much. Maybe I'll just follow the line created by the intake vents, that should look decent. I'm also looking for an SS spoiler now, and I upgraded to a Pioneer stereo headunit yesterday, bought it for myself for my 19th birthday. . .
You guys want to know what I love about my car? Everything I've done to it was done without using any financing or anything, so everything is paid off completely. Except the tires, but I didn't buy those, my dad bought them for me last year. I owe nothing, which is more than can be said about a lot of cars. I work hard for what I have, I work 2 part time jobs and a couple of work study jobs at my school, so I work my a$$ off for the money I put into my car. I will be at Woodward on Sunday, in the Camaro, I put insurance on it, and I'm going to order my custom plate as soon as the title gets here. That won't be for a while, but there are still plates on it in my Mom's name. My insurance is only about $1000 for 6 months of PLPD, which isn't bad for a 19 year old with 2 vehicles. . . The Slonoma and the Camaro. . . Oh yeah, I've had a ticket for 5 over and a couple of not-at-fault accidents. . . .Nick H.

It won't crack, I know it won't. Yes, I did fiberglass it on, as well as riveting the top and bottom together. It's going nowhere. Thanks for the words, I'm glad so many of you like it.Nick H.
