Welcome to the Michigan FBody Association website.
The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Thus, we will have get togethers, casual cruises, events, and such like that, but this is not an exclusive club and it's 100% free to join this site! So what are you waiting for? Register now!

just took it out for a spin! roasted the tires a little bit
have a few things to work out, cutout didnt work so i need to rewire that, airbag light is on (?), odometer does not light up (?) and sometimes the gauges didnt work....hmmmm
Got the pass 1/4 painted up. My $5 paint job did not turn out to well. The actual paint turned out pretty good but the clear coat rattle cans are really hard to use...
Wetsand the hell out of it, it will look alright. It looks decent in the pics, but your camera kinda sucks. My advice with the rattle cans: Lay the paint on thick, it's easier to wetsand it after than to have to sand it down and start over. . .

exactly. I wetsanded the black paint 4 times. Only wetsanded the clear once so far but iwll need alot more coats
Don't wetsand it until it is completely dry. When spraying urethane clear over a fresh paint job, it usually looks like crap until it flashes, then it will start to smooth out, and only minimal "orange peel" effect is left. That's when you want to start wetsanding, is when it looks better than it did when it was wet. I would say at least 3-4 more coats of clear (light coats), let it flash, then start wetsanding.
