my god how many cup holders do you 4th gen ers have? im jelous...lol right now i have one and its just my crotch so when you see me driving slow that means i have coffe or a milkshake propped up...

lol 93-96 has one cupholder. the 97+ has 4 cup holders, 2 12v accessory plugs, and a metal hinge on the console lid -- hence why I upgraded to the 97+ center console.

yea... i got 2 cup holders in the back of the counsil..one that slides out under the HVAC controls...and one in the center...mines full o change lol

I need to get one of those consoles. The hinges on the console lid in my 94 have been broken since before I bought the car. I can't shift gears with a Big Gulp in that front cupholder either. . . And the crotch doesn't work very well when you have to apply the clutch. . . So mostly, I just throw the drink at the nearest pedestrian lol

I need to fix that console lid, but I don't want it breaking again, so I'm just going to upgrade to the newer console. I'm also using salvaged parts from my Blazer to create a custom overhead console. Pretty cool idea, huh? lol

someone made an interesting observation on cz28.com a while back. And that was that there were DOZENS of threads mentioning broke center consoles, yet not a single one mentioned how they broke it. anyone know what consensus was come to?

I think it is simply from a alck of thought. Mine is completely obliterated in the back, almost like someone sat down and accidentally knocked the lid right out of place with an elbow. I don't know how they break, but GM did make a mistake using plastic as the strong point of the lid. Kinda thoughtless if you ask me.

i dont know how it broke but it looks like a 300 pound person sat on it lol the plasitc is just snaped right in half lol (that sh*ts strong too)

oh and im about to say the thing i here the most when people say that theres is broke (it was like that when i got the car) lol

Mine was like that when I got the car, but I don't intend on leaving it that way for long. I am going to use the overhead console out of my Blazer for the space between the T-Tops, and I am going to use that for storage instead of the lower console. That will save me the hassle that is that damned center console lol

Oh. . . That's what you were getting at . . . lol I missed it totally. I haven't gotten laid in the backseat yet, but I'm working on it . . . lol The subwoofer in the middle might need to move, too lmao
