Okay so we'll try for a sunday meeting. The following Sundays would work for me as long as I know 2 weeks ahead of time...

Since many of you would like to aim for January,

Edit: I was confused about the dates. These are the following sundays.

        Jan. 8
        Jan. 15
        Jan. 22
        Jan. 29

Lets pic a date. We'll set up the meeting for some time after noon and we will discuss location once we have a date. The Old Chicago Restaraunt was what Doug suggested. It is just east of Lansing in Okemos. I would like to do some more research before I lock in the location. But lets have a date people. Thanks.

Another location suggestion could be a Cracker Barrel Restaurant. They are usually right off the highway and are easy to find.

There is one on the West side of Lansing:

          608 Commercial Drive
          Lansing, MI 48917-9765
          (517) 627-7755

          At the
Cross Streets of I-96 & SR 43/Saginaw Street
          Exit 93

And there is also one on the East side of Lansing:

          2285 Woodlake Drive
          Okemos, MI 48864-5934
          (517)381-1511

At the Cross Streets of I-96 & Okemos Road
          Exit 110

          1996 Pontiac Firebird - Blue/Green Chameleon - 3.8L V6 (231ci)
          Totaled & Declared Dead: 08/07/2001 - Rebuilt & Reborn: 08/21/2002

sorry for putting my .02 in since I have a Camaro.
I think you should pick a day and stick with it every month.
We (WMCC) do the first Sunday of every month.

Since many of you would like to aim for January,

Jan. 7 - The first sunday of the month?
                Jan. 14
                Jan. 21
Jan. 28 - So the 28th is Bad for some people.

P.S. I love Cracker Barrels. If you guys want to do it there I cna look into it. I think it would be nice to have a spece away from the rest of the restaraunt so we don't disturb other diners.

Is there any room for an unbiased Camaro owner/Firebird Lover to join this group? I'd love to help out, and I'm in the market for a 3rd gen Firebird. Ben, I love your idea for going to a Cracker Barrel, but places like that are usually REALLY packed full on Fridays-Sundays. If you want another suggestion, I would say that a local Bar/Grill type place in the Lansing area, like a Mom & Pop type place that is usually pretty slow, that would be a great place to meet. They may even become sponsors if you meet there often enough. . . Just my $.02

Where ever you have your meeting, make sure they have a seperate room you can use. It is tough to have a meeting with a bunch of people talking around you.

Id say like Grand Rapids area or somewhere round there.
It's easier to make a 3rd gen faster than to make a 4th gen look good

LOL thats a little far West for a centralized meet. Once we start having East / West meetings you guys can figure that out.
