Vinnie, no worries about what to do . . . we have 3 or 4 people doing it who have done it before, and we do it in pairs, so we can probably pair up newbs with "old hands" (haha) to help you out too. And it's mainly about cleanliness and attention to detail.

Like Barry said, they will do the classification for us. If a car is listed as stock, that means that someone has already looked at it for authenticity and decided that it is period-correct (within the rules of the category.) If it's modified, then you just decide if the mod is tasteful and well executed - you don't have to decide which mods are better than others lol.

It's a fun two days - you get to crawl all over some of the most beautiful Camaros in existence!

True. You get a sheet with numeric values for everything (i.e. rate exterior appearance on a scale of 1-10), it's really easy. You just have to be thorough and make sure the technical aspects are correct. VERY easy to do, I judged 1st gens a couple years ago, I had a blast.

Will all of the judges be meeting at the hotel? Please confirm for me .... I haven't heard that anyone is planning on meeting at MIS... if possible, it would make it easier if you all were at the hotel on Friday morning to get your passes.

I'm not planning on going on Friday, but if I were, I'd be heading straight to MIS, since I live closer to the track than I do to the hotel (30 minutes West to the track, 45 minutes NorthEast to the Hotel). I have too much to do before Saturday to be able to make it to MIS on Friday. Hope everyone else has fun though!

Ben, if you need a ride inside, catch up with me . . . I don't think they are letting in spectators unless you are in one of the cars. Something Barry said in an earlier post.
