MIFC seeking judges for Camaro Super Fest

Hello folks,

As many of you know, for several years the Michigan Firebird Club has had the honor of assisting with the EMCC at the Camaro Super Fest by providing judges for the event. Last year the EMCC tried a different method and decided to go back to the old arrangement. That invitation has been opened up yet again this year.

Several months ago when I received the news from Barry, I asked a handful of folks to help and thought I had them committed. However they have all backed out for one reason or another. So I am left to come up with 4 judges for the show 3 weeks before the show begins. So I am now opening the invitation to the MIfbody community.

This is a paid opportunity and a great way to enjoy the car show and the 4th of July weekend. Also, as part of the invitation the EMCC has invited those interested in being judges to join them in a lap around MIS!

I am seeking 4-5 committed individuals who would like a chance at this rare opportunity. You need to be present 9-5 on saturday, and 9-3ish on sunday.

I have always enjoyed the event and all those who helped out in the past have always mentioned they enjoyed themselves.

I spoke with a few of you at the meet and greet who mentioned you could help. So speak up folks. If you need any more info please refer to the CSF thread, PM me, or post here.

Thank you Liz, yes if you can help you are more than welcome. The only thing I would request is that you judge a generation other than 4th gens for objectivity reasons.

Please aim to arrive at least one hour before each days judging begins. Also if you plan to join the EMCC for a lap around the track at MIS also plan on being one hour early to get situated by the EMCC.

THANKS for volunteering to help Ben and EMCC by being a judge at our event.

Just in case you are still on the fence for some reason, here's the entire scoop....
Each judge gets paid $150 cash
You are welcome to join us on Friday for laps around MIS and your picture on the start/finish line
You will recieve a dash plaque, goodie bag and event t-shirt
You will get a free lunch on Saturday and refreshments on Saturday/Sunday
You will have our THANKS!! for being part of our event.

We really need EIGHT judges - 2 judges per lane and we're planning on 4 judging lanes. Oh yeah... you are judging under a tent, so you are in shade all weekend!!
Judging is on Saturday from 9am-12 noon and 1pm-4pm; on Sunday from 9am-12 noon
