HID Kit Sales/Installation

As was mentioned in the other thread, we also sell and install all types of HID kits. All our kits are made with digitial, slim ballasts, and have a lifetime warranty on the bulbs and the ballasts. Should there ever be an issue, we just swap out the bulb/ballast. No shipping and replacement hassles.

We stock 10 kits at any given time, and have a regional supplier who stocks a LOT more, so we can usually get our hands on a kit for you within 24 hours. If we cannot locate one, then we special order it and will have it in 3 days. So, if you ordered on a monday, you would have it thursday afternoon. Best of all, no prepayment necessary. If the kit is not in your hands, you don't have to pay yet.

Pricing:
We have two different types of kits, "standard" and "premium". Standard kits are all your single beam kits(9005, 9006, h11, etc), as well as dual filament bulbs with a xenon(HID) low beam and a halogen high beam, such as 9004/7. Premium ones are your true bi-xenon kits(9004/7, etc) which use an electromagnetic motor to move a shield to produce the high beam light output.

Normally, cash and carry pricing is $125/150, and installed pricing is $150/175. MIFBody members get special pricing, at $100/125 cash and carry, or $125/150 installed. If you purchase two or more kits, you get $10 off each kit. So for a camaro, your headlights, foglights, and high beams if you wanted are only $90/kit, with a lifetime warranty on the bulbs and the ballasts.

For those of you with non fbodies, we stock all the varieites of capacitors, resistors, relay harnesses, and cancellors necessary to make aftermarket HID kits work with your vehicle.

Do you offer a kit for trans ams? I've been looking for lowbeam/fog HIDS for my T/A.

I can get you the fog lights(800 series) no problem, but the headlights on TA's from what I recall and see online are 4703, which are sealed beam, so I don't have kits for those. If you were to purchase an upgrade kit online that has the housing, but with a replaceable bulb system, then I would be able to get you an HID kit for those. I will look around and see what I can find about the conversion kits for you.

okay, after looking around, it appears there are several conversions on the market that generally run about $100 or so for the housings, then it would be $90/115 for both the low beam and fog light HID kits if you were to purchase both. I would charge you what my cost is on the conversion, including shipping obviously, and wouldn't mark it up any.

What kind of price would we be looking at for a "bi-xenon" kit for use with the EuroLamps housing upgrades? I've been tossing around the idea of doing HID's in my car, and they seem to be coming down in price from the last time I looked, so I may pull the trigger on it in a couple months.

from what I can see looking on their website, their conversions are only for one beam with each kit. Either the high beam or the low beam, since camaros/TA's don't use one bulb for high and low, they have two separate ones. In that case, you would need two kits for the high and low beams, at $90/115 each if you bought both at once, or else $100/125 if you bought them one at a time.

82-97 birds use one housing per side dual beams. I think they're something like 4506's but either way eurolamps should have a housing for them, which should work with the HID kits. I did mine two weeks ago with their housings. Installing the HID's/housings was stupid easy.

Can you explain the difference between the Premium and regular kit a bit more in depth? I didn't quite understand what you meant. It sounds like for the premium kits the low/high beam are both HID output while the regular just has a regular halogen highbeam. Do I have that right?

So If I have LT1 F-body with sealed beam conversion kit, then I would need to buy two kits but I would have a high beam for each light? Wow, I bet thats blinding...blindingly sweet!

yes, you have it right.

as you can see, the premium kit has the electromagnet on the bottom that moves the bulb in/out when you turn the high beams on/off.

both of these kits are relevant to any vehicle that uses the same bulb for the high and the low beam. Most commonly found on ford vehicles, but also on a lot of other cars. I honestly don't know how it would work with an lt1 camaro, it would depend on what type of sealed beam conversion you bought. The kit will specify that it requires a 9005 bulb, 9006 bulb, etc. That is the size bulb that goes in that housing. If you have a housing that specifies a 9004, 9007, or h4 bulb, then you would need to pick between one of these two bulbs.

is that more clear? Basically, if you convert your car to a replaceable bulb type headlight, you will need whatever type bulb that housing requires. From what I see online from pictures, lt1's still have four separate headlights(2 high and 2 low beams), so you would need two single beam("standard") 9005/6 kits if you wanted to convert both of them.
