All right I stopped over to take some pics and looks like I figured it out. I could not figure out why the one mount pad was staggered but I think the motor mounts themselves are staggered to the right. Also the bolts on the passenger pad are one on top and two on the bottom. Looks really weird to have that end of the motor mount pad sticking out off the edge of the K-member.

I still cannot believe this stupid little problem screwed us up for that much time. Oh well, you live you learn. Motor and trans go back in next weekend at soonest.

    Thanks everyone.

Travis, What is the cleanest brake line install you have seen with these?

Motor and trans are under the car waiting to be bolted in. Have to find the thread pitch for the strut mount bolts as I stripped them coming out and I can not find the nuts. I think they are M10 X1.5?

I welded the brackets off the stocker to hold the brake hose clip by the fender on each side. Then ran the brake line along the back of the kmember and zip tied it to get to the passenger side. Bent and tucked it out of the way. Just play with it and see what you like the best.

When i swapped from the Stock kmember from the 3.4L to the SBC tubular For the Carbed 350 I just ziptied the old lines onto the K member and was careful in rebending some of them. Just take your time when doing it.
