Sounds like an awesome build. I give you props for sticking with a V6 instead of doing a V8 swap. The 3.8 Buick engines are extremely stout. I wouldn't be surprised if you see 500 RWHP while spraying it. Post up when you get it tuned and are taking it to the track. I'd love to see it run.

joel came over tonight and checked the car out when I was in the shop. I tried some things with hptuners and nothing changed. Idle sits around 1k right now which isn't too bad, just not as low as I would like. The engine is really touchy with the air inlet. If you put your hand slightly over the inlet it likes to almost stall out and will if you cover to much. I wouldn't think it should be that sensitive.

Looking at the logs/scans the only thing I see being an issue is that one of the o2 sensors is not responding to anything. No KR and LTFTs around -1 to 1 at idle.

BTW Joel, your car sounded nice taking off. That cam is a good one

nope, .hpl is not supported here. The other part of the log is excel format, but the main log is .hpl

The tune is .hpt and that is not either

alright, talked to Brian and he hooked us up so that we can attach the files.

Here is a scan of my idle and my tune is also attached. For those with hptuners, check them out and see what you think. I have only found the one o2 sensor being an issue. Everything else seemed alright to me so far.

Hit me up on aim, Ill lead you through a few things to fix the idle, I should have some time tomorrow to check out your log. I had a rough time figuring out how to tune my idle with the big cam, but i got it down to a penny. I might be able to show you a thing or two.

Most likely the raf is gonna need some tuning along with the ve table/maf.

Jon, I will have to hit you up after I get the new throttlebody that I ordered in.

I ordered a CNC'd throttlebody from a company so it will be 70mm and have all the correct sensors with it. I found out the LT1 TPS sensor does not work with these tb's as the sensor turns the wrong way and I was getting no signal from the TPS, it was showing 0% all the time. So it should be here in another couple days or first part of next week. Hopefully this will help with my idle issue as I believe the blade on mine was letting to much air past

new CNC'd throttlebody came in today as well as some extra sensors for it. This thing looks great and is a bit bigger than the stocker I have so it should flow better now.

Time to swap this thing in now. Woot!
