I got a 94 car but the 93 motor and fuel rail. Mine hooks out fron. But i got the hole in the back with the groumet now so it runs the back then forward. So on mine braided lines would be viewible..

Looks like we'll be fitting up the braided lines to the LT this weekend (thanks Justin!).

There will be two options- one that replicates the stock line routing, and another that runs directly to the rail through a grommet hole behind the DS fender liner (pic in link below, thanks Joel). The second option is cleaner and uses less hose, so it will probably be a little cheaper. Once we figure out hose lengths and required fittings this weekend, we'll start taking pre-orders on an intro price.

Glad to see a selection of kits coming together, options will make you guys successful!

Also for any LT guys wondering what the "clean" kit looks like from the engine bay here's a shot of mine. I did tuck them a little better later on but you get the idea. Way better than wrapping around the front like stock IMO. Now i just need to get rid of that gaudy red wire insulation




Edit: thats also a very good observation by Ron that 93 cars use a different fuel rail, those kits will need to be different than 94-97s

Yessir! Friday night should work. I've been wanting to do this for a while now. Maybe we can post some before and after pics to give everyone a better look at what to expect. I like the way Joel's setup looks, probably go that route.

On my 93 even though ill be running my fuel lines thrue the back behind the brake booster then to the front. Ill be probly going with the standerd length ones. Its the same just not out the front. It will come from the back right up the center if the valve covers. 8)

So will the LT1 lines come with some slack to compensate for where the person drills the hole? I know I drilled a hole in my fender but I can't remember where it would be in comparison to your pic

Honesty if youre too far off from where i am youll want to just drill another hole to avoid routing the lines on too sharp of an angle. As i recall it was very obvious where the hole should go, there were not much room to deviate.

There is an existing hole in the wheel well we'll be using as a reference mark for where to drill the 1 1/2" hole for the LT 'direct route' kits, which we finished up all measurement and fitment for yesterday.

Even with the stock routing, the braided lines look so much better. Pricing is still TBD and there will be four variations available: stock routing or direct routing through drilled fender hole, both with or without a 4AN braided evap line (also which routes differently based on whether one chooses stock routing or direct routing for the fuel lines).

Evap (optional) for the direct route kit will route along the firewall and come up from behind to the valve w/a 180 deg hose end connecting to a 1/4" barb to 4AN adapter (again, not pictured):
(Note: hose pictured here is 6AN, but it will be 4AN in the kit-Brett was being lazy. Just kidding he did a lot of the dirty work and had more gas in his hair than I did!)

Take a look at the new pics Dave posted and find the whole you drilled in your car and let us know how much longer of a line you think you will need. We hand make all lines so adding/subtracting length of a line is simple.
