I use a Jr on my 99 SS. It will work on a 5th gen as well. You'll just need to use the clips, as the pig-tail that comes with it is to small to fit a Automotive battery

just ordered mine too , I always bring my battery in the garage and charge it occasionally, it will be nice to just leave it in teh car and have this plugged in now

Exactly my thinking. The old cars always have their batteries pulled out.

But with the camaro, the battery is in the trunk. Now, if you take the battery out, you have no power right? So you don't even think about this, close the trunk and look at the car all winter right? So... how do you open the trunk in the spring to put the battery back in, there isn't a key hole. You would have to manually unlock the driver door, crawl into the back seat, fold the seat down, pull the emergency trunk release. What a process! I figure, plug the tender in and shut the trunk!
