You know what year? I can try to find one that would work.

I guess you could do it either way. There is lip thats in the way of the "universal" bump stop fitting in place. Thats need to be cut or bent out of the way. I guess you could also modify the bumbp stop also. No manufacture makes a "direct" replacement bump stop and I think GM doesn't offer these anymore.

To the car. On a 4th gen there's a lip where these mount to and you need to grind/cut the lip away.

I think this is the same way on a thirdgen too, brian was it hard to do when you installed yours?

I haven't installed mine yet because of the difficulty. The two bolts that hold the stock bumpstop in are still there but the bump stop is gone. I tried to get the bolts out and they're totally rounded - rusted to the bump stop mounting spot and really nasty looking. The only thing we can figure is that we have to drill the bolts out but to do that would require basically dropping the whole rear end out.

are you kidding me!? Mine are basically the same as what you just descirbed yours as. The bolts are there but no bump stops and they really do look scary. Damn but anyhow I still need them so let me know creight you can put me down for some.

If anyone need to pay by PayPal, shoot me a pm with your info. I'll need to figure out shipping cost. Spay the heck out of your bolts with WD-40, BP Blaster or some Kroil oil (I might of spelld that wrong) and Let it soak in, spray it more, soak, etc...

Is there any way to get a angle grinder or small air powered disc wheel in there to put a straight slot on the bolthead to use a flathead screwdriver to get them out?
