i need the part inside the center console that locks the lid down so it doesnt flap up. i dont even know what it looks like my car never had one.. lemme know whos got one

nope i have that part, its the thing inside of the console that keeps that little button locked down. dont even know what it looks like. im missing it so my lid flaps open all the time. what does it look like open? il post a pic of mine in a sec2000 Firebird A4 black hardtop

Based on what i have if does not look like you are missing anything from the lower portion of your center console.
Pictures 1-3 are of the lower portion of the center console. Looks similar to yours.
Pictures 4-7 are of my spring loaded latch in the lid of the center console.
If you have any more questions let me know.
