Check with WMCC Dennis. I believe he has some hotchkis ones he took off of his car. He has a 4th gen, so I'm not sure on compatibility.

Yeah I don't think that's a recommended way to do it, I was mostly kidding.

What do you think putting lowering spring in will do.
If you lower the front....it will change the front end, so you will need to get it alligned again.

Another way is to heat up the springs, that will make them shorter.....but u have to do both the same.

If you want cheap, just cut them...nothing cheaper than a high speed cut-off wheel and some time. I have been riding around on cut springs for a few years now....it works...is it optimal...no.

Heating the springs ruins the metal. Cut them.

It messes up the spring rate when you cut them. I'd wait and buy real springs. Heating is the worst method and cutting is 2nd worst. You'll want new struts/shocks when you lower it anyways so save up some money and do it right.

Don't listen to Wade, he's an idiot....you should see the way he gets bashed over on LS1tech.

Actually cutting the springs isn't that bad, yes you change the spring rate, but it's very minor. Also if your shocks and struts are in good condition, you do not need to chnge them. They will be fine. People freak out about cutting coil springs to lower a car and they also freak out about not changing the shocks and struts.....I don't really see what all the fuss is about.....but of coarse, this is coming from someone who ACTUALLY tried it.
