      Go get some out of a junk yard to cut up, that way you still have yours that you can always put back in.

            I remember wanting to put those on my Grand Prix then my first S10. Glad I never did.

              Actually cutting the springs isn't that bad, yes you change the spring rate, but it's very minor. Also if your shocks and struts are in good condition, you do not need to chnge them. They will be fine. People freak out about cutting coil springs to lower a car and they also freak out about not changing the shocks and struts.....I don't really see what all the fuss is about.....but of coarse, this is coming from someone who ACTUALLY tried it.
              Listen to James! Hot rodders been cutting springs as long as there's been hot rods. Might as well cut them and see. Cause once you buy springs, you will just throw the stocks away anyway.

                yea i clamped them put more than recomended so it wouldnt pop off with heaver duty bolts..I think it looks alot better now and some day ill just buy lowering springs and do it right..
