Listen to James! Hot rodders been cutting springs as long as there's been hot rods. Might as well cut them and see. Actually cutting the springs isn't that bad, yes you change the spring rate, but it's very minor. Also if your shocks and struts are in good condition, you do not need to chnge them. They will be fine. People freak out about cutting coil springs to lower a car and they also freak out about not changing the shocks and struts.....I don't really see what all the fuss is about.....but of coarse, this is coming from someone who ACTUALLY tried it.'73 Z28 388 Stroker, M22 Rockcrusher 4 speed
