As Mike said, Brandon is Paw Paw will hook you up. I looked for over a year then called him up out of the blue, bought the 88 from him 3 days later.

Body looks good. Nose bumper piece needs paint. Says it's ready for a new engine.. that's saying without saying that somethings wrong with that engine. You can pay peter now or pay paul later. Cheap car = Higher repair costs. Expensive car = lower repair costs. Good luck with your search. There are good ones out there for that range but be prepared to put in some time, money, and knuckle dust.

youre not going to with $2200 youre buying a project for that, either a nice roller or a nice drive train with the body needing work. I paid that for my car needed paint and wasnt running 100% (although it didnt NEED paint just had clear coat pealing)

My car meets all those expectations and much much more now, tell him to up his budget and contact me.

He changed his mind and bought an 88' mustang gt. 302 with a t5. He loves the car, drove it from Howell to monroe today. Sorry guys!

Congrats to him.....Honestly at the end of the day that's probably a good way to go. Seems you can get into a Mustang for less "initial investment" than a F-body.

He loves the car, happy he got something other than the Grand Prix he was driving. And I would say the opposite, the fox body platform is WAY more expensive to get into. He managed to find a solid car that needs a lot of cosmetic help.

I'm not committed to one specific brand, so I like mustangs. But only fox bodies lol

Is it black and does it have the engine painted about 10 different colors that makes you think of a clown shoe? My friend just sold his a few weeks ago to a guy out by Howell. Maybe he flipped it to your friend. Slim chance but you never know.

Seems to be in good shape. Ditch those headlights! I know rust is a big issue on the front shock towers for fox bodies. If it's rust free, he got a good deal! All the boys will want to ride in his mustang
