• Need some paintwork done ASAP

Just want my polished aluminum valve covers painted, need them by friday at noon at the latest. I have color and I believe the clear is good too. I do not however have any metal etch or self etching primer.

Talk to me people, who can knock these out for me in a hurry?

mcalus for sure, but you're going to have to drive a bit to get them to him, get them back, and then installed on your car. What about having Darren do powdercoat?

Thanks for the offer guys. After holding them up in the engine bay and deeply thinking about it for a few days, part of me wants to leave them polished.

I went to menards on my way home today and bought a can of white plastidip and a can of the glossifier. Going out to the barn shortly to shoot them and see if I like the look or not. I may try and leave them on for the meet and greet and see what some of you guys think (if the heat doesn't destroy the dip) if I'm happy with them I'll pull them after this weekend, get them painted right, and start brainstorming ideas for some pin striping, vinyl lettering, or something.

                          Thoughts on this?

                            Is plastidip ok with heat?

polished them and they will reflect all the white under the hood anyway! I would leave them too.
