Jeremy @ RPM just got back with me - $1650 to upgrade my box to face plated. And then I need to check the clutch.

So I'm in it $2500+ either going with a used 4l80e or a faceplated box.

I know but my experience with Liberty was less than impressive. They were far to busy to answer my questions/calls.

The guys at RPM are one the ball.

I'm going down the 4l80 road - we'll see how I like it.
