  • WTB Z28 tail lights

My buddy just bought a 95 Z28 6 speed. But the P.O night shaded the ones he's got, to the point of no return. So if anyone has a pair of clean stockers let me know!

I am selling the ones from my 98Z, if he was interested in making the swap, would need different sockets. Took them off shortly after taking ownership. Come with blackouts attached to them. Look to be in great condition (took them off and just sitting in my basement)

No stockers, but a real clean pair of carbon fiber tails. Could do whatever you wanted with them. I know you said stock, but hey, ya never know.

my knowledge on the camaro side is very limited, but 98+ had the amber turn signal right?

Yes, you would just need to have the LS1 light sockets. LT1 sockets will not fit in the holes. Cut your wires, wire up and your good to go.

What's your buddy going to do with the nightshaded ones? Should be able to sand the niteshades off and polish them, shouldn't he?

If he's willing to let them go really cheap (I assume these are the LT1 tails), I'd be interested.

I'd say they are pretty ruined. Atleast 4 coats of nightshade . And the one taillight has a crack in it

Ah, the crack is the killer.

Niteshades is just paint, I'd think $20 for a mother's headlight restoration kit and he could be good as new

It's not the money. He is just getting into cars. And doesn't quite understand that you can easily change things over. And doesn't want anything changed

You dont need ls1 sockets for the amber tails. I had a set from a 99 camaro and they fit right into my 93 z28. Just the amber lit up when my headlights were turned on.
