  • WTB: Gen III cam for 6.0

Looking for a cam to put in the 6.0

I'm keeping the Z06 cam in the 5.3 so I'd like to find another used cam with at least Z06 specs. I have 317 heads with Comp 918 valve springs installed so I can go up to .600 lift. Not looking to spin this engine too high since it has the early rods and I'm keeping the LS1 intake for now. 216-228 duration and .550 to .580 lift maybe? Just a fun street car is the goal here.

$200 is my budget for this - any more than that I will just drop the coin and buy new. I'd rather not go that route with this "Hollander" build though

    Thanks!

Budget has been bumped up. I need a cam ASAP, vacation next week so I need to get this car closer to moving on its own. I can get a new cam here in three days for $320 but would rather buy used.

I could use a set of hardened 7.400 pushrods also

LPE GT2-3 cam that's good for boost, if anyone is looking for one that is. I don't plan on going that route

I ordered some Comp 7.400 pushrods.

A possible deal is in the works for Spencer's TR224 cam

Yup, $99 to my door w/ 2 day shipping.

Cam is in, heads are on, pushrods and rockers installed. Taking a little breather now before I go back out to install the valley cover/knock sensors and put all the accessories and intake on. Might even go get some beer to keep me up all night
