I'm looking for an lt1 t56 to bolt to a gen 1 small block. I would like to be in ok shape and at reasonable price. I'm looking to swap it into my 85 Iroc so if someone has let me know I don't need a clutch as I know someone who has one that wil work for it. Pm or text me at 517-526-1760 thanks either one is fine as they both go to my phone

There was one on CL from a old member here that he would sell for $600 but if you went that route I would HIGHLY recommend completely rebuilding it, and then your talking the price where you could have gotten a new one for a little more...

Remember you need the "expensive" flywheel to bolt to a 1st gen block. It will add money to the swap. I got mine for about $300. it is a nice piece just expensive. That and my spohn crossmember added a lost more cost than I expected. Do all the homework you can before making a purchase.

Man, next time I am going to hire you to find me parts. Have to admit, at the time, I was just trying to figure out how to get it all in and working, a bit less about saving money. So I bought most of it new. Other than the trans setup itself.

Would the pedals fit in a third gen? I wanna swap it into my 85, also don't wanna sound dumb but what's the need for that type of flywheel can't you just use any one that bolts to a 2 piece rear main?

The 4th gen pedals will work but not without modification
