yea i checked into ripping my motor out first but its at least $7000 to do the forged 427 kit on my block and that hardly seems worth it. plus i would have to choose low or high compression before i did it. so im just gonna supercharge it first then see what happens with the motor. ill run 8-10 pounds of boost on my CR and see how it is and if it blows up, then i guess ill just have to rebuild it, but at least that way ill know what i need to do with the motor.

I wish you the best of luck, you are crazy kevin so this fits your name well, because that much boost on stock block with higher CR is.... crazy, lol

ok, you should be fine with 8-10 on a supercharger..... i dont know about 650 though, i would say 500-550 on 8-10, now if you spray too... theres your 650 i'd say, GL

Well I haven't ever seen a polished plenum kit go for 3 or actually I haven't seen one go for any less than 4. I guess it all depends on the extras, like I bought mine with a computer with a tune, and a bunch of pulleys, etc, etc

Sounds like you think you have her all figured out eh?

There's a guy on racingjunk with a supposed F1 kit for 4500 with polished everything, but it's only a 6 rib set for 5 psi he claims... I saw pics, it looked legit, but idk...

ps-dont run your boost gauge line thru the hood release cable grommet without RTV'ing it

Yeah that level of boost should be fine, do you by chance know the CR though? I still don't think it'll push those numbers on that low of boost but it'll definatly be a MONSTER
