Welcome to the Michigan FBody Association website.
The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Thus, we will have get togethers, casual cruises, events, and such like that, but this is not an exclusive club and it's 100% free to join this site! So what are you waiting for? Register now!

Depending on your budget, but it looks like you're gonna need a lot more than you originally planned. If putting in bigger cam, you need new springs, rockers(buy Comp Cams Pro Magnum 1:6 for 7/16 stud), rocker studs(ARP), maybe lifters, push rods, retainers seals, should have heads ported, headers, y-pipe, bigger injectors, Ported intake Manifold, Larger Throttle Body, larger capacity fuel pump to feed it. You can build the bottom end, but increasing air flow is where the horse power is increased.

you may not need all of this just yet, but i agree. i think youre gonna end up needing more stuff than you originally planned. aside from that, it just doesnt make sense to take a lot of that stuff off without replacing it
I have a brand new set of the "blue stripe" Comp Cams 130# valve springs, should you need them. Set of 16. Got them off Ebay and my project took a different direction. I'll let go of them for $70 + shipping. Never been compressed, never ran.

It's for an LT1 so there shouldn't be an issue.
Also have a stock K-memeber if you need.
May need a spring upgrade though.
I have a few stock LT1 cams if you would like.
