  • 86 Iroc Guage Cluster

I need a new speedometer, I would like it to be the 145 mph guage and not the 85 mph guage. I would also like the rest of the guages if possible too.

    I need a speedo ASAP.

Yeah I know, but I wanted to see if anyone here had a speedo and cluster first. I like dealing locally.

I found one on ebay, its from an 85, I am assuming correctly that it will work on my 86 right?

have you tried the bone yard? I've been to a couple that have 86 & 87 IROCs in them with good clusters... One would be Hoopers near Bay City, the other would be Warhoops at 18 1/2 Mile Rd in Sterling Heights....

I've picked a few small things from both yards and I'm sure there's more yards that have them.

Just bought a 145 mph speedometer off of ebay for $60.00.
Still would like the rest of the cluster if anyone has one.

For some reason I thought all IROCs had the 145-mph speedo...

GM first put the 85 mph speedometers in them and then mid to late model year they switched to the 145 mph speedometer.

^ that guys got a good point, trick yourself into thinking your accelerating a little faster too. mines the 85mph, i like it.

The one I have right now bounces while driving. I have seen it swing a 10 mph difference while driving on the highway. Plus it only goes to 85mph. Thats just stupid, cause eventually I want to take this to the track to see what it runs.
