If you have all the "Correct" Parts it should set right in there with no problems. How much is it worth to you for somebody to come help set it in there?

That blue piece of square tubing if what's wrong. The mount sits right down on the K-member. Ditch the tubing and bolt it right to the K-member and I bet it fits just fine.

i tried that and it wont bolt in because of the oil pan sits on the kmember but your right it is in the perfect posistion when its down there

That's easy...get an F-body oilpan. You probably have a large truck pan or something on there....get the right pan and bolt the mounts where they belong and it will drop right in.

He has an LS1 in his car so measuring his won't matter anyway. I would put the stock mount brackets back on and get an fbody oil pan. Should drop right in as previously suggested.

with the stock mounts on the oil pan is like 5 inches from the engine cradle so with those mounts it would not really matter what oil pan is on. the problem with those mounts the engine does not sit low enough and wont line up.

You are making this WAY more difficult than it really is.

So by adding tubing to the mounts it sits lower?

Seriously put ALL the STOCK mounts on and it will fit. If you need a pan let me know, I have 1 or 2 out of a fbody that will work.
