Well I just got a voicemail from that guy (weird cause my phone never rang) but the guy said it was sold already.

It's getting to the point I could just let Brenna drive my Grand Marquis for a few weeks while I pull out, machine, rebuild, install the 3.4.....

THIS SHOULDN'T BE THIS HARD!!! AHHHHH

Pretty much hit the end of it's road. Milking it until spring when the weather is warm and I can drop in a decent motor. Would give me a few months so I'm not rushing building a motor and swapping it during the cold. Rather build it under no pressure and put it in while its 60 degrees outside.

I'm swapping in a LT1 into my car, let me talk to my dad when I get home from school and I'll see if he'll pull the 3.4 and trans outta my car. Auto, 96k-ish I think.

Let me know. I'm just looking for a full motor, no trans but I called on that link from Angie and it was sold.

Yeah, if I can ever get my hands on one! It's harder then you think! I'm having a harder time finding an LS2 then 3.4!!!

A 3400 or 3500 out of a FWD car won't work. A big thing I've been reading about for the 3.4 Fbody guys is to get the heads/intake off the 3400 FWD cars. The heads on the 3400 are aluminum and flow much better then the 3.4 CI heads.

yea i knew the engine wouldn't work, like you said some guys take those heads/intake off and build the 3.4 up

are you looking for a perf build or just a engine replacement?

                            I'll keep an eye out

It's gonna be a stock lower end but rebuilt. Then headjob and cam kit. I don't know what these put out stock but maybe 40-50hp on top of that. Not looking to go fast and def. looking to keep it a budget build. Gotta put the majority of my cash into LS1 mods

Depends... How worth saving is it? I basically need a longblock and intake. I can pull all the sensors and accessories off the current motor.
