I've got a 283 with under 15K miles on it. Its a long block. Estimated 300 hp. Ran great when pulled. $400

Are you looking for an early 80's non-hydraulic, or a hydraulic clutch T-5 from the later fbodies? I have a 90
hydraulic clutch T-5, but it has 215K miles on it, works ok but could probably use a freshening up. If your really looking for the earlier version without hydraulic clutch I "might" consider swapping the T-5's in my Bird and 83 TA and selling you the 83 T-5. Either way you'd probably wanna go through them before slamming some power through em.

        Is the 90 T-5 a World Class T5?

I thought 88-92 were all WC. Well if you find out otherwise let me know.

hmmm....maybe im just ignorant or something, I always thought WC T-5's were aftermarket or something. if what you say is true then maybe it is a WC.

Nah, the WC was just a redesign of the T5 which made it have a higher torque rating. 88-92 FBods are supposed to be WC units. Got any pics of it? Do you have flywheel, clutch, pedals or any of that?
