  • SOLD: Z06 replica wheels

So, my brother ordered rims for his '98 camaro quite a while ago, but decided to stick with his OEM wheels. These are new in the box from OEM wheel distributors, comes with a wheel lock kit, has the corvette center caps with them. Never had rubber put on, never been bolted up, just ordered and they have been setting in my basement ever since.

They're 17x9.5 in for the front and 18x10.5 for the rear. I wanna sell these as a set, but if somebody wants to arrange to split them up, that up to you guys

He's asking for $700 OBO - they're located near Warren. I can work something out on pickup/drop, but I don't really wanna ship them.

If these don't sell, he will most likely put cheap rubber on them and sell the whole car + wheels in the spring time. I don't know if these need wheel spacers or not, but they were found in the Camaro section of the OEM wheel distributors website ..

I can get those exact wheels, brand new and shipped to my front door, for $591.

Not that I want them, but just a heads up.

Well he changed his mind again .. so I guess he's gonna keep the wheels unless someone really REALLY wants them. In which case, talk to hoogiesngrinderz lol.

Actually, what size tires do you put on wheels like this?? It's not a race car .. just a daily driver. I guess he wants to use them now that I've reminded him that they exist ...

              275/40 on the fronts.

With the rears being 18's, I would say 295/35 could go wider 315/35. I don't think you would have to drop to a 30 sidewall but I could be mistaken.

I'd be interested in the 18s if he changes his mind and is willing to split them up.

                  Update:

Well. He has finally decided on what he wants to do.

The set will go for $350, or $150 a set of two. We can talk about delivery, or pickup is preferred. I can meet you half way somewhere reasonable, or I can meet up out at Woodward.
Shoot me a PM if interested.

Oh man, great price...I've since decided to keep my stock wheels, if these were competition grey and 18" fronts I'd be all over them...you should have no problem selling them.

Yeah he's looking into a set that's 17 x 8.5-9.5 ish with a 54mm offset. I think a set like that is more of what would be better for a daily driver. He's having the car painted right now and is looking into getting some wheels that don't look like they've lived in the ocean for 80 years. His chrome set is pealing pretty badly and he has had nothing but problems getting them to seal since he's owned the car.

It's $350 takes the whole set of wheels, or $150 if you want just two wheels to match a set of 17s or a set of 18s. I would really prefer to sell them as a set though.

Also, potential offer pending. If you're interested, shoot me a PM with your offer.

Gregs point is usually a set of two would be more than half lol
so 350 for all four or 200 for 2
or someone could just buy two for 150 and have someone else buy the other two from you for 150 and you lost $50 and someone got all 4 .... doesn't make any sense but hey its your sale lol
