Welcome to the Michigan FBody Association website.
The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Thus, we will have get togethers, casual cruises, events, and such like that, but this is not an exclusive club and it's 100% free to join this site! So what are you waiting for? Register now!
If you have any problems with the registration process or your account login, please contact us!
I know in road racing they can be used for three seasons. I don't know the rules with 1/4 mile rules.
From the box they look to be made in July of 2008.
belt expiration is complete BS. Fine example of a rule that accomplishes nothing other than getting somebody rich and making street racing more appealing. Mine expired in 03 and I can still use them in autocross!

I agree somewhat, but you have to consider what a track official doing tech has to go through to tech a car. It is pretty much impossible to ask the guy with the clipboard to inspect the thread integrity, search for any possible cuts or signs of having been in an accident along the entire length of each strap, etc. The bi-yearly cost of harnesses would be more than made up for by the $100, 2 hour long tech inspection every time you go to test and tune... lol
Sean and I watched some NO ET guys try and sneak some rickety 8 second pile through tech at Martin this summer with belts that were something like ten years out of cert. Took the official 2 seconds to see that these guys were cutting corners all over the place...

You have a point, but if a top brand belt like Simpson is only good for 3 years, then why does a factory belt never expire?
