Investing in a 1st gen sbc will allways be a lost. Trust me I have a full bolt on 305 with alm heads rollor rockers cam tune headers it had a Holley stealth ram on it with bosh 3 injectors. All the money I spent it was guy selling a complete ls2 from a tbss 4 1k obo and a guy with a long block lq4 for 350. I will never invest into a1st gen sbc for racing again. And I can't sell it with complete 700r4 new adj umi torque arm for 1500. The heads are almost that.

How much for long block. I have alm high flow water pump and my intake headers so I won't and can't use yours. Me I'm thinking 800 is the most I'm will do. And u prove its a 383. But we will have to do a payment plan lol. Oh and u will have to get it running I have enough trouble with my 305 ask TRYMEHws6 Aaron.

thats a 305 though, completely different animal 305 was your first and worst mistake. its an eagle stroker crank, 5.7 rods, and .030 over heads. what do you mean by long block without intake and stuff. i never included those in my original price they were basically freebies

Sorry for the repost. 305 and 350 is only a 15-20 hp diff in size. When we are talking low hp numbers 350 and under. And its still money the same price if I had a 350. The zz4 heads would not cost me less id I said I have a 350 so that no biggy. He said or best offer did any 1 offer u 2k or 900 what about 800.01. I was going to pay 200 a week. And would u rather pay 2000 for a 315 hp motor or 1k for a 400hp motor that's better in every way. I would do the 383 soming I can do in a day. Its not a low ball it the going rate I've seen them go as low as 500.

800 could buy the crank and a half the pistons. hp depends alot on tune, intake system etc. if youve seen a 383 go for 500 then something was wrong with it, or it had more miles on it than a donkey.

A ls2 stock crank can hold 1k hp a first gen can't hold that power not even the block. U said tbi intake right so 275 hp motor. It don't sound like u going to sell it to me. Happy selling

I don't think your should beat the kid up over it it for sale whether you like it or not it's his decision what he wants to sell it for yes he will never get what he has in to it but I don't think his price is bad u can't compare buying an lsx to buying and old school sbc two different worlds and different folks I would sell it toyou either not trying to start anything but seems like your just beating hi, around the bush here Tyler my friend and I won't watch anyone do that to him

You want it for a fraction of whats into it so no. plus you said you werent gonna use the tbi intake so you would have more hp and id guarantee itd make more than that. if you want to point fingers your the one who thought a 305 could make good power when clearly if you put what you have into a different engine it would have reacted much differently and probably ran correctly.

I don't know how y'all got that out off (I would never invest into a 1st gen sbc again) and I said I would rather spend 2k on my lsx swap. Tyler u went on for a page trying to sell it and it had obo meaning or BEST offer. Not ctmap close to my asking price. I was just trying to help u. And a 305 and a 350 is the same shit like a 383 is like a 350. A 305 just have a diff bore size. Like I said b4 305 and 350 its a 15 to 20 hp diff like a 383 to a 350.
