The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. Will it fit a 3rd gen? My tilt must be broken or somthing it moves around.
(please don't give me crap and say everyone knows it will fit!) < this happened when I asked about seats!
LOL sorry about that earlier man. I didn't know 4th gen seats would fit in a 3rd gen either until this thread. Guess we all learn at some point. I am not sure if the steering wheel will fit but i'm sure somebody will chime in soon enough and answer your question. If it will, It's yours!

It will bolt in. Many of the electrical connections will work. HOWEVER...the shaft is longer after the firewall. It will also be clocked 90* vs. the thirdgen shaft, so your stock intermediate shaft wont work.
A lot of guys have used Astro Van intermediate shafts with success....but it still involves modifying the shaft if I remember correctly.
Tear it down to the tilt mechanism (if you have tilt) and loctite those 3 torx bolts one at a time while you are at it...save yourself the frustration down the road.

Do you thnk that will fix my issue? I have a new steering wheel and adapter. But it seems like the tilt is loose I think it locks but moves down and to the right a little. I was searching and seen that people tear it down and tighten the bolts but is that because of the same problem I am having?
