            Most 4th gens with V8's & 16" rims use 245/45 r16's

would these fit a v6 as well? I thought the widest I could go with 16's is 235. Or is there some hammering/cutting in my future?
Adding power makes you faster on the straights. Subtracting weight makes you faster everywhere.

For six days work may be done, but on the seventh day, you shall have a track day, a Sabbath of competing, to time the FIREBIRD; whoever does any work on it shall be put in last place.

Should be able to, assuming your rim is wide enough. Tire size "245" is only 10mm wider than a"235" ... There are alot of 4th gens on here that are using 275's on wider rims, without modifying the wheel well.

Stock V8 tire size is 245/50/16 which is a 25.5" tire. They 245/45/16's are a 24.5" tire. Thats the only difference.

                              To my knowledge V8s with 16s for 245 50 16s and V6 got 235 55 16 unless you got steelies.
