              Found this over on LS1tech...

              I heard the GTO T56 had stronger internals, slightly different gearing, a triple cone synchro's so I chose that over the F-body T56. Everything with the swap was going well until I tried to use an F-body shifter on the GTO trans. When I bolt up the F-body shifter, it will not shift into all the gears. I compared the two side by side, and they are different.

                          can i get a pic of it. i still have factory shifter in my 94z28.

                          also does it have a knob? if not whats the knob screw size?

                            I can get a picture within the next couple days. The thread size is the normal stock thread size, so it fits stock shift knobs. It didn't come with a knob so you'd have to reuse your stock one or get a new one.
