I am looking to build up my new L36 before the swap. I see you have many L36 / L67 parts for sale. What would you have that I could use? Are those heads in good shape? I was thinking about port matching a set of heads for my new engine.

If I'm not mistaken, L36 is the code for the Buick-designed NA 3800 Series II V6 motor, and L67 is its supercharged equivalent.

L36 is the RPO code for the GM N/A 3800 II motor found in fbodys, bonnevilles, grand prixs, and such. If the engine is blown it owould be an L67 or other derivative.

                    Thanks!

But now I guess I'd better get that hood over to Brian so his shop can get started on painting it!

sorry so late... been busy doing a 3400->3800s/c swap over the holiday, ill post a thread on it after its all buttoned up

i have one set 1k heads, one set 4k heads, one set 40k heads, yes they are in good condition overall, valves could prob use a spit shine (yay ppl using crappy gas) but as far as i can see no cracks etc.. FWIW, these heads ARE very prone to hairline cracks in the valve seats, none of these heads show them yet, but i can not guarntee that a magnaflux will not show any stress.. I went thru 6 sets of lo mile L67 heads before i found 2 heads that weren't cracked between the seats.....

LMK what all you are looking for, Im sure i have most of it here

I also have a L26 rotating w/ 40k and a L36 block here as well (would need all new seals/bearings/etc) just to be on the safe side.. but thats just my .02, and i get pretty anal when building an engine I'd rather over build something than have to redo work

I'll PM you my # feel free to call w/ any questions...

Still have the GT1 Cam? Will that work with my application? Also the ZZP website mentions that this cam can be used with light boost applications is that correct?
