Not true. 2.73 geared cars came with steel. It was only the "Performance axle" option that came with 3.23's and an aluminum driveshaft.

Really? Was that just on formulas? I thought for sure at least all trans ams had them.

hey bud..we briefy spoke up at woodward a month or so ago..I saw you roll up in the CTSV and got a kick out of you telling me about some guys trying to screw around with you on the highway and you just pulled all over them...and they just thought it was some plain old gramps car!

any good stories lately? any mods or tweeks to that engine?

Nothing latley... Back to work and haven't had her out much... Ran a 12.50 car a few weeks back from a roll and put a length on him by mid 4th then began to run away... Still waiting on a few nitrous parts and deciding what cam to go with... I'll start a thread when get a chance

the Manual 6 speeds came with 3.42's stock..might want to check but thats what I have..

3.42's are plenty..I blow the tires up after 4k already!

LS1 has to be the most under-rated engine ever!

I'm interested in the driveshaft. How much are you asking now, and are you interested in any parts on trade? I have brand new UMI LCAs and LCA re-location brackets if you are interested. Great mods for some better traction.

actually i was just going to update that I traded it up for some extra parts that I needed..

probably took a small hit but they were some items that i didnt have so im happy..

plus i didnt have to ship; he came out for a pick up which was even better!
