        X2...'98 PCM's take like 20 minutes to freakin flash. and it's difficult to make them idle with a huge cam...the 99's and up take only a few minutes! and the perimeter style valve covers the '98s have suck when you go to upgrade...not that it's a huge deal, but another one of those things!

          the only good thing about the 98 pcm's is that once you have software(efi live,hp,ls1edit) you can tune as many 98's as you want. they aren't VIN locked like all the others

            LS1 FTW.....thats all that matters. Each has their pros and cons

              Thanx for the info. I have a 94 Z28 now, and I just decided it was time to upgrade to the LS1. Well I was just gonna build this one but, my brother in law talked me into just buying and building an LS1 car.
