  • 2003 Silverado Z71, cam, stall, 14 bolt, etc

Selling my 2003 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Z71, extended cab, short box, black. Truck runs and drives very nice. Has a 2005 5.3 engine with a 212/218 Comp Cams camshaft, LS7 lifters, hardened pushrods, rocker arm bearing upgrade. Heads were resurfaced and a valve job was performed. All new gaskets throughout the engine were installed. ~7,000 miles since the install of these items. Also has stainless long tube headers, 3 inch y pipe, and a 3.5" Duramax exhaust. The pcm was retuned for these modifications. Has an automatic transmission which was rebuilt ~20k miles ago. 3000 stall Circle D torque converter was installed at the time of the engine modifications and a large B&M transmission cooler with fabricated steel lines was added to keep transmission temperatures down. Has a 9.5" 14 bolt rear axle with 4.56 gears and a Detroit True Trac center section. Front axle was recently rebuilt with Motive 4.56s and all new bearings and seals. Has electronic trailer brake controller. Other misc repairs done to the truck recently are: front/rear brake pads/rotors, front wheel bearing, truck has been leveled and an alignment followed, Toyo Open Country 285/70/17 tires 8,000 miles ago, driver seat has a new foam bottom and cover and the passenger seat has been recovered also, A/C compressor, Rancho shocks, tailgate hinges, Truxedo tonneau cover, etc, etc etc. . .. . .have receipts for almost everything. Truck has been great to me but I am looking at newer vehicles. Pulls a trailer great and has enough power to have some fun with it. I have it on Craigslist for $10,500, more room to negotiate for MiFbody members. Any questions? Just ask.

The truck sounds great, pulls a roller just fine normally...not so much in sleet/snow, right Ricky?!

Haha that was a great time.....I'd rather not pick up a car at night and in sleet again!

                212k on the body
                133k on engine bottom
                10k on front axle
7k since engine/converter install (new cam, lifters, etc)
