Well my wants for a ls1 car or a 6 speed lt1 car has driven me to do this.

I want to trade my car for a 93-97 trans am or z28 with a few mods must be a 6 speed if its an lt1

T tops is a plus but not needed. A convertible 6 speed is a awesome thought.

If its an LS1 car auto or 6 speed doesn't matter. Prefer t tops if its an auto.

Don't care if its modded or fully stock. I'll be reworking it myself.

My Camaro has low miles so for an lt1 I want nothing more then 160k on the dash unless its been rebuilt.

For an ls1 car mileage isn't anything due to I'm going to be rebuilding it shortly after getting it. But nothing that has a knock or weak oil pressure or shifting issues if its and auto.

    So now for my car.

    Motor is a 355 LTX

    BBK 52MM Throttle body
    Edelbrock intake
    Ls1 ram air kit
    3inch flowmaster catback
    Scat crank (forged)
    Hardened I beam rods
    Scorpin roller rockers 1.6
    2 bolt main
    2 pc rear main
    Motor is 0.030 over
    Ported intake
    24# injectors (stock is 22lb)
    New optispark
    High amp alt
    New serp belt
    New waterpump
    New external trans cooler
    New OEM fog lights
    New SS Camaro front clip
    New flowmaster 40 series muffler
    New 4 inch chrome tips
Has been tuned by pcmforless for all
    Major mods!

    Transmission
    Under 10k miles on rebuild
    2200 stall
    Stg 1 shiftkit
    Kevlar bands
    Kevlar clutches
    Beast sunshell
    Stock drilled servo
    Umi trans mount
    Drive shaft safety loop
    Profesionally balanced drive shaft

    Rear end
    Rebuilt recently but mileage unknown
    3:73 gears
    New carrier
    Hardened axles
New rear end dope (80 90W)

    Suspension:
    Lakewood LCA's
    LCA relocation brackets
    Otherwise stock

    Wheels and tires
    1997 camaro RS wheels
    New 255/50R/16 in the rear
    Older 215/55R/16 in front
All 4 center caps are new
    No rash
    No bends
    No dry rot
    No uneven wear
    New valve stems

The rear foot floor pans were also patched in this car.
A very thick bead of high temp silicone was put on the area then the patch was laid and beat to shape with a BFH
And then pop riveted into place and then flex seal was used on the inside of car and under where the patch and existing metal meet. Then I used duplicolor undercoating in a can then used a duplicolor high temp textured paint
    To pretty it up.

I've tested it with a direct hit to the patched area with a power washer and it was dry as a bone inside.

The car does need paint but if I have the car much longer it will most likely see primer and be ready to be painted if not have a new coat of paint.

Almost forgot the car has a little over 102,XXX miles.

Just installed a brand new headliner and sun visors from a 99 SS no rips no tears no broken mirrors. No sag. Even the CD holders on the visors are still stretchy and tight.

Just looking to trade not wanting cash offers. I have over 9k into this car.. but it still needs another 1k-1.5k to be perfect.

Just trying to be completely honest here.

Nice looking car! If you're looking for an LS1 6 speed SS 'vert, Conrad has a REALLY nice 2000 for sale.

If you have some 4th gen seats laying around that are in good shape Id take some cash and those seats.

And I seen Conrad's on craigslist. Its a sharp looking car!

Had a guy offer me his 98 z28 for it with 128k I was seriously interested until he told me it had a rebuilt title and supposedly knew NOTHING as to why.

I'm still kind of interested in it but if the deal goes on my SS hood and halos stay with me. And so do my wheels.

He says its a solid car but as like anyone when buying a sports car with a rebuilt title I'm a little worried.

That's not smart. Hopefully its not a lemon, just because you want an Ls1.

I seen pics of the damage. It was hit on the passenger front, it broke the rim. Strut, bent the core support. A little.
They bought the car from the insurance company.

Its been repaired correctly. It rides smooth. No weird sounds or pulls, has 134k miles. Accident happened at 125k. 2 years ago.

Trust me I went over this car with a very fine tooth comb.
The air bags did not go off. But the sensor for it on the core support isn't there.

The frame horns weren't touched so its basically the same as my last z28 but it has an orange title.

It does need front brakes bad.

The real question is how much cash are you adding, because we all know no one in their right mind would trade a 98 for a 93 straight up. (there might MIGHT be some grey areas to that but not this transaction)

No it was going to be straight up but I told him I didn't want. I just don't like the idea of trading my car with a clean title for one with a rebuilt title.

Once I told him I didn't want his car, he started talking shit, so I'm glad I didn't deal with him.

                          Well cars back up.

no offense but the guy must have been crazy willing to do that trade, or there was something drastically wrong with that car.

He was only asking 4000$ for his car. And he came to me wanting my car. Said he just wanted a built car.

But none taken. That's another reason I didn't do it..
My car is making more and more progress day by day. So
I'm pretty much about to pull it off the shelf and keep it
