The guy buying it also showed me where the entire drivers rear quarter had been replaced. So trust me, it was rough.

Good news, too, the guy buying it is putting it in Autorama - minus the body - into a 69 Camaro Convertible. He is doing a 100% wiring swap and even going to try and get the traction control and ABS working. Should be a cool build. Plus, he should have a roller for sale in couple months if anyone is interested in building a stripped out drag car.

Have the buyer call Joe up! They made every single piece of the trail blazer motor and PCM work in Denny's car! down to the cruise control

Or actually last year! Sorry, but Geoff sold this car last November.

Your car is special in it's own way, you should enjoy it as it is, and then just eventually find a Z28 that's ready to go.

The guy I sold it to pulled the entire drivetrain out including rear axle, and all the wiring, and put it all in a 69 Camaro. He said the traction control and ABS still even worked. It was in Autorama. He might still have the stripped out roller for sale.

Wow -- bought it in November, showed the resulting car in March -- sounds like a few members of our Bench Racer's Club could take some lessons from him!

The guy works at a high school skills center as an instructor. He just has to set up the daily work into 20 minute jobs for a dozen kids or so, and the kids do it all. He says they completely rebuild one or two cars per year. Paint, body, and all.
