  • 1995 trans am T tops Leather MODS MODS MODS!!!!!! very fast!!

    ive got a 1995 trans am, mods are as follows

    Bored 0.030 over
    flat top pistons
    eagle crank
    eagle rods forged NOT cast
    1.6RRS
    custom gm cam
    ported intake
    ported intake side of heads
    ported throttle body area of intake, will take upto a 58mm
    throttle body air foil
    msd opti 2 months old
    msd coil 2 weeks old
    autolite plug wires 2 months old
    platnum plugs 2 months old
    ac delete pully 2 months old
    high volume ported oil pump
    1LE style Aluminum intake elbow
    descreened MAF
    K&N cold air intake
    42LB Green giant injectors
    pacesetter longtubes
    offroad y pipe
    magnaflow muffler
    PCM for less tune (could use a good dyno tuning)
    new TPS
    new OIL pressure sensor



    as for the transmission

    4L60E auto
    Beast sunshell
    kevlar band
    kevlar clutches
    drilled corvette servo
    vigilanti 2500 stall
    high volume front pump
    full B&M stage 2 shift kit
    umi trans mount in black
    engergy syspension tourqe arm bushing


    rear end is out of a firehawk

    373 gears
    strange axles,
    posi unit and it does work

    could use new brakes
    paint
    and alittle body work

    in pics below youll see a y pipe next to the car, that was the factory y pipe for the manifolds, i had 3 o2s on this car once i took the car and had the y pipe installed the 3rd o2 at the cat was deleted, so now the service engine soon light is on, still has 2 o2s in place with extenstions for the longtubes, pics was simply to prove that fact.

      Was/Is this car on craigslist?

      Also from the pictures it looks to be caprice motor but I could be wrong.

        it was, but is now ttaken off

        the block is from an fbody a 1996 trans am ws6 the heads are off an impalla SS i went with cast instead of aluminum with this build because ive had bad problems with aluminnum heads with the lt1, too easy to warp or crack,

        this car is running a 160 deg t-stat with a tune so that the fans stay on the whole time the car is running. this car barely hits the 160 deg mark on the temp gauge,

        my car does also have the "P" code in the vin so it is a TRUE LT1 car,

              can you delete my old post the 1995 trans am t tops trade one? it was a quick post and with little detail, but thanks for helping out with the posting combo

                Done. You need to re-attach your pics though, the attachments were deleted in the process.

                    No problem. Best of luck, I know if the price was within my means, I would have picked this up instead of my 94 6 speed. I just had a tiny budget. Lol

                      THE WS6 PART OUT CAR WAS A LT1 SWAPED V6. HE GOT IT FROM A TRADE, IN A FEW WEEKS HIS GIRL CRASHED IT. SO HE PART IT OUT. AND KEEPED THE DRIVE TRAIN WITCH THE PO OF THE "WS6 FRIE HAWK" USED HIS STOCK LT1 OUT OF HIS TOTLED 95 IMPALA SS. SO BOB HAS A MOTOR AND TRANS AND NO CAR. HE BUYS A ROLLER AND PUT IT IN NO MODS NO REBUILD. DONT BUY ANYTHING FROM HIM. THE PCMFORLESS PCM CAME WITH THE SWAPED CAR AND I THINK ITS STOCK WITH A STICKER. I WAS THERE WHEN HE GOT BOTH CARS.                             WELL FOR SOME POOR GUY THINK HE IS GETTING A FORGED LT1 BIRD WHEN HE IS GETTING A STOCK 95 LT1 OUT OF A IMP I THINK THAT IS A PROB. U THINK ITS OK TO LIE TO OTHERS TO GET BETTER CARS?
