The sad part is LT1s don't hold value at all. Even the LS1s are beginning to drop a lot. If you don't rush there is a buyer for everything. It just comes down to time. Hopefully you can keep because it's a beautiful car.

Well it seems that all of the haters on here scared off all of the potential buyers because there's not one person that has made me an offer . Pretty hard to believe that no one wants this awesome car.Attached Filessigpic1997 firehawk # 115 6 speed. Its just a little ole LT1

Nobody is buying anything right now. I can't sell any of the parts I have laying around, even having lowered the prices several times. Have you tried parking it out on M52? I bet you'd garner some interest, thousands of people would see it, and I bet at least a couple want one of these. . .Originally posted by 97firehawk View PostWell it seems that all of the haters on here scared off all of the potential buyers because there's not one person that has made me an offer . Where all have you advertised? You might need a bigger audience. On this site... lots of hobbyists... no collectors. The price you have (are you at 16k?) Is on the upper end for folks buying hobby cars. While I could afford something like this, the only way I could justify it is to sell my current hobby car (95 formula) - but what I think I could sell my car for vs what your car costs creates a large cost deficit that would wipe out my mod funds for several years. And, I think lots are thinking the same.

I guess that's a matter of perspective. I say a serious collector is someone who has at least a $100k collection value... are there really several of those around on mifbody? I usually think $1M and up as a really seriuos collector.Originally posted by 81DaytonaPaceCar View PostOh, the first part of that post is soooooo untrue. Several serious collectors here...
I would guess there could be a couple here, but then again its size of that audience, and how much they are looking for something imparticular.Last edited by Fish-man; September 22nd, 2012, 04:33 PM.
