Specifically, from September '62 on it was legal to title them as a '63 model year.

Nowadays, it's April and on that you can title them as the next model year...

alright I know you guys been waiting on stuff....however my buddy isnt really wanting to push parts, all his prices are high and I know no one is gonna pay his prices. example Big Jons dash...with all wires, no stereo bezel, and a little crack under the cig lighter he wanted 125.00
I told him to check his prices, and to let me know when he was ready to sell some stuff.

yeah thats rather ridic. He needs to understand what they are going for and what the definition of "mint" is and what those prices go for. Sounds like hes overwhelmed and not sure what to do.

well, I picked up a couple things, but just because I busted out the CL and ebay to show him....I said these guys are not dumb, they shop around know what current pricing is and its all about condition.

He needs to let of few of us go "American Picker" on this field. I am all about the bundles!

Unfortunately, people like this usually come to their senses once the parts are absolutely useless.

Yeah, thats too bad. Given what he has, he needs to realize third gens are the BOTTOM of the scale, the second gens and vettes are where his money is. Not to mention people usually look for the t-topped ones to work on, not the hard tops.
Now, if one of those birds happens to be a stick, I might be interested in picking up the whole car, depending on price and condition.

                                Mike,

I have a lot pics that I took, Ill have to take some time to post them, I dont think there was any stick shifts. There is a ws6 with nice stock wheels, suspension, rusted out floor board, interior was ok as far as guages, steering wheel. He probably wont go much less then 650 on that, what I was thinking is to let me see he wont sell much and wait for him to come ask for my help
