Welcome to the Michigan FBody Association website.
The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Thus, we will have get togethers, casual cruises, events, and such like that, but this is not an exclusive club and it's 100% free to join this site! So what are you waiting for? Register now!
If you have any problems with the registration process or your account login, please contact us!
If you can afford to drop a few hundred bucks on fuel. . . lol
I'll be pulling it out of the garage this weekend to park it out front with a sign in the window, it's going to be sold, just a matter of time. I'd like to see it go somewhere I can keep an eye on it in case it's ever in the cards for me to buy it back, but at this point, we need the money to make some repairs to the house we are buying.
GLWS. Seeeing that car brings back some memories for me. my dad also had one when i was 11. my mom and dad where seperateded when he died and the day of his car crash that killed him. one of my uncles or who ever. broke into the house took all the his stuff along with the car. and a motorcycle. i got the house when i turned 18 but it was so bad off i had to sell it. only thing i ever heard was the car ended up in florida with one of my uncles and turned into a roundy round car. that car and some pictures was the only thing i wanted. i remember sitting in the drive-way many many times he worked on it (performance mods). i would give anything to get that car back...
i hope you find someone that will take as good of care of that car as you or your dad would. again GLWS...

I would give anything to get to keep this car, but I know that Dad would have sold it if he were in the situation we are in now. Some things are more important, and having a roof over our heads is more important than having a horribly impractical, ridiculously fast, 42 year old car. As I said, I will not be able to stop the waterworks when the car leaves for good, but I know it's for the best. I just really wish it goes somewhere that it will be appreciated and cared for like it has been while we've owned it.
I forgot to add to the original post, some time last year or the year before, while the car was stored for the winter, we were victims of a break-in. Someone forced entry into our garage, made off with a few tools, and smashed the driver's side quarter glass out. That is one of the only parts the car needs that I do not have, although there are a number of folks on firstgenmc.com that have offered to sell me the glass, so they are available and really not all that expensive.
If anyone is interested in the car, PLEASE let me know. As I said, you will get a fair deal, we are negotiable on the price. I want it to go to someone somehow related to this site, which is why I haven't listed it elsewhere yet.
i completely understand your position nick and i would do the same thing.
To anyone that has never drove one of these cars. they are a well rounded ride. and very fun to drive.
VERY fun to drive. I would recommend replacing the rubber wheel valves with stainless, however, because if you spin the tires, the beauty rings can't keep up, and we have wound up cutting off valves that way
