              Guess it depends on the definition. I wasnt making it public because at first I thought about just fixing it up to look good and selling it because I know I could make some good money on it but now I think I am set on keeping it.

                      Extra parts are nice.

                      I got tubular a arms/control arms/panhard, LS1 brakes in a box, SFC's, bunch of interior parts, extra tonneau cover, extra convertible top with frame, complete header and exhaust system, JL sub, probably other things I forgot.

                      We're kind of throwing off the point of this thread...whoops.

                            Just for comparison sake, here's one on CL for $5,000 and looks like it's in good shape comparable to Jon's - http://detroit.craigslist.org/wyn/cto/2764586208.html - now of course that doesn't mean it's going to SELL for $5,000 but like Darren said throw it up for $4,000 and see what happens.

                            And dare I say it - on the debate about lowballing, I actually agree with Darren on everything he said...

                              Not true.

                              I can supply you reams of data that show that (many) muscle cars begin to appreciate when they get to be 25-30 years old...the truly desireable ones will begin when they're 20 years old.

                              Frankly, now is the time to buy 3rd gens...they're cheap, and everyone has a dismissive attitude towards them.

                              <ahem>

                              Perfect time to buy 'em cheap and watch them appreciate.

                              But as you're 22 years old, you may just have to trust me at this point...

                              And, no, this doesn't make you more valuable as you are entering that time period...it's all downhill after you're 18...
