Let alonr as soon as you buy it thje mtor needs to be tore done and find new heads or if your lucky repair the heads. That in itself could cost a couple bucks.

I know where there's a set of heads for $100, they would be perfect for having ported and rebuilt. OR, as I know some of you "out of the box" thinkers may know, there are people around the site that have spare heads just sitting in their garages, I was offered a set that had a valve job and already rebuilt for $400 last summer. Add the gasket set (about $150), and a weekend's worth of work, and the car is better than before.

Just throwing this out there, but when I start the car up for whoever comes out to see the car, they aren't going to be able to tell that the spark plug threads are damaged, because it runs like it has no problems at all. I'm telling everyone that it needs engine work. I mentioned above that it needs heads, and had I not mentioned it, nobody would have known until it was already too late. I'm an honest guy, and I'd rather make $1500 the honest way than $3k the dishonest way.

This isn't being sold as a driver, it's being sold as a project. It's priced right, I've been told by many people that if they had the money, they'd snatch it up in a heartbeat. Have had a couple offers on it, even at the $2000 price it's listed at elsewhere.

I'm being honest about the problems with the car, and I will point out EVERY issue I know about to any prospective buyers that take the time to come look at it. I don't want to rip anyone off, and I don't want anyone to get in over their head with a project they can't handle. I want this car sold, but I want it to go to someone who is going to do with it what I couldn't.

I paid $4k for this car in 2007, and put 15-20k miles on it between then and now. I put another $3500 into upgrades and new parts in 2009 alone. I'm taking a MAJOR loss selling the car this cheap, but it is what it is, and I'm not going to try to take advantage of anyone. If you are interested, come take a look, make an offer, and I promise, you won't be disappointed.

Just curious, if someone is offering more ($2,000 on other sites) than you are selling on this site ($1,500), why not take the $2K now?

Not offers FOR $2k, offers from people who saw it advertised at $2k that want to lowball me before they see the car. I've got one guy from this site that wants to come see it this week, I hope he buys it, then I could keep an eye on it's progress.

As far as the E-Cutout, I'm not exactly sure the brand, I bought it used from a member here a year or two ago, and it's been sitting on top of my toolbox since I got it. lol I'll take a look at it and see what brand it is. Send me an offer, I think I paid $130 or $150 for it with the pipe it bolts to, which is installed on the car already.

It's a QTP 3" cutout, I just remembered the brand. lol Great shape, it's used, but it works. Includes cutout, wire, and switch. Seems the going price is around $130-150, so let's say $125? I paid more than that for it, I just can't remember who I bought it from here.

If people keep asking about individual parts, maybe I will part it out. . . lol

Anyone interested in the 'vette rims for $400?

I also have a set of Camaro side skirts, only sideskirts, nothing else. They are in great shape, if anyone's interested, PM me an offer. Removed from a rolled '01 Camaro SS with like 20k miles, no damage at all, black in color. Maybe a few scratches, but no cracks or anything.

man, if I had any way to justify this, I would be extremely tempted, it sounds like it could be fun. Unfortunately, I cannot possibly justify such a purchase.

How might I help you to justify it? What kind of price would be "justifiable" to you? PM me and we can figure something out. lol
