  • 1993 Formula LT1/Auto Hardtop $1500

Hey guys, I'm going to try this here one more time. I need to sell the Formula ASAP, need to get some bills taken care of. Not interested in trades, and I'm pretty firm on price. No time to post pics right now, it's the same car that's in my sig, and I will pull some pics from Photobucket later today or tomorrow.

    The details:
    1993 Formula
    LT1/700R4
    Hardtop
    169k miles
Pwr Windows, locks, mirrors, alarm/keyless entry.
Has some rust, not too bad overall.

Needs heads either replaced or existing ones helicoiled, spark plug threads were damaged during header install. Car will start, run, and drive, but I wouldn't chance driving it too far, I recommend trailering it. Totally worthwhile though, it's got a bunch of new parts.

    Pacesetter LT Headers & ORY
    Spohn STB
Canton Racing fabb'ed aluminum valve covers
3" cutout (have electric cutout as well, just not installed currently)
SLP Line Lock (Installed and tested, only used once)
    Poly trans mount
Gabriel air-adjustable rear shocks (it was bottoming out in back, this solved that problem)
    Eibach Pro-Kit lowering springs
And a handful of other goodies I bought while I was in the Army, some already installed, some still in packaging.

For an extra $350, I'll include a set of Corvette C5 Deep Dish wheels, 17x9.5" front, 18x10.5" rear, tires are already mounted, but will need replaced soon. Rims were bought new from OEWheels in April 2010, and I paid more than that for just the rims. Rear tires are decent, front are unevenly worn due to bad alignment. Rims are in great shape.

I have it posted locally for $2k, but for MIFBody friends, I will take $1500. $1850 if you want both sets of rims. Not looking to drag this out, I need the car sold ASAP, and it's going to be painful to see it go, but I need to get it out of here.

PM for details, pics to come soon.

Make me an offer for the rims, they are in great shape, was only really willing to sell them that cheap to "sweeten the deal" for the car. Let me know what you'll pay, and we can make it happen.

It is, but I tried selling it for $1500 here last summer, and didn't get a single offer. I need it gone soon, it's been sitting for far too long, and I honestly don't have the motivation needed to finish this.

$1500 cash takes it. Pass the word around, if you know anyone who even might be interested, PM me for contact info.

Like I said, if anyone wants to hear it run, let me know, I can toss a battery in it long enough for you to hear it run. Starts up on the first turn of the key, idles smoothly, doesn't misfire or make any odd noises. Like I said, the car is a great start to a project, or even if someone were to pick it up and swap the heads on it, fix the rust, and paint it, the car is a great driver.

Here's a couple pics I found on Photobucket, rims in the pics are the ones included for an extra $350, I'll sell them separate (with tires) for $450.

Wish I had 1500, I'd snatch that up in a heartbeat.

If it's still here, it's all yours. lol

Jon, I'll have to look around on my computer later on, I don't know of any recent pics, but I'm sure I have some from when I first got them. One of the front rims got away from me when I removed them from the car and wound up landing on the face, so there are some light scratches around the outer edge of the rim, but the rest are in excellent shape.

Btw by the way if it were me I demod the car before i sold it if I were you. 1500 is less than you paid for the car to begin with. 1500 means you would take 1000. That puts the car into parts car territory. Hell the motor and trans would sell for 1000 all day. At least you could keep any parts or sell them separately. Can I buy the sub box back before you sell the car? 150? You would get nothing if you sold it with the car.

Btw have you considered trades? I just traded my 86 for a race motor and you know how rough that car is.

I sold the sub box to Justin a few months back. I'm not really looking for trades, I'm getting a new car next week. My DD is a total pile, I've spent over $400 on parts for it in the last month alone, and the front suspension is on it's way out now. I need something reliable that will handle the ridiculous number of miles I put on my car in a year.

And I won't take $1000. This site is the ONLY place I have the car listed this low, that's my bottom line, it's listed for $2k everywhere else. If it doesn't sell soon, I'm going to put a sign in the window and park it at the end of the driveway, it'll be gone in a week if I do that.
