  • 1997 Saturn SL1 5-speed $600

A guy I work with has the following car he wants to sell.
I was tempted to buy it as these cars get 35-40 MPG but I don't have the time to fix it up.

    A Gold 1997 SL1 5 speed manual with 22x,xxx miles
The vehicle runs and drives fine after it is jump started.(needs a bettery)
The left rear quarter panel is broke at the top and pushed out, truck is slightly damaged as well.
drivers seat has to be proped up
The tires should be replaced soon
A rust stop on the cradle that should be re-inforced

$600 firm, The title is available and the vehicle is located in roseville.

sounds like you buy it, but for only 300, cause that is what scrap value.

Also if the rear door sills are rusted out, dont even buy it.
'91 Camaro Modded, LSx, House of Kolor Intense White, lowered, GS chrome 18" wheels, 14" Brembo CTS-V on all 4 corners, LS rear end, FP suspension components

If I didn't have my cobalt and I had more time I would install a battery, buy a few tires and I would have 700 invested. If you get a year of use out of and IF you scrap it for 300.
The cost of ownership(without gas/insurance) would be $35 a month.

all kinds of fact. . . .even with rust, people will find a way to keep that shit together. .. .. a beyond cheap car that gets good gas mileage. . . even if you only keep it for a year... . .he should have no issues getting rid of it

yea but a rusted engine cradle is a huge problem
