everyone says you can buy a high mileage ls1 car for cheap, but usually high mileage means alot of little things like the underside isn't looking like you'd like it, tons of scratches and swirl marks, interior pieces broken, seats worn out, speakers sound like shit, door shuts funny, headlight motors, transmission, etc. Thats why I think this 96 is worth 15000 bucks. Less of those things above.

Ha maybe NADA is on acid or something, I don't think anyone would buy your car for that much truthfully, unless the body was mint. But hell if it lasted that many miles, you must be doing something right.

That's the average retail value. High was closer to $5k. The body on my car isn't in THAT bad of shape. . . Just needs some rust repair, paint, and a frame machine. . . lol I would probably only sell it for about $2500-$3k after it was fixed. More if I included my subs, amp, headunit, etc.

Considering that I payed $4,000 for my car with 69,000 miles on it, and a mint body, I think you'd have a hard time getting that.
