$14000 for a 96? even with miles that low, it seems a little high. . .Nick H.

Yeah, Brian's right. I could get and LS1 Camaro for less than that. I actually found a few LS1 F-Bodies for less than 1/2 that when I was looking a while back. . .Nick H.

Ben, that's 3x what you paid for yours, and I've shown you LT1s with less miles than your car for less $$$. . . What's the point of paying $15,000 for that car when you're just going to end up modding the s*** out of it anyway? I'd rather buy an LS1 with high miles and rebuild it with forged internals, cam it, drop it, boost it, spray it, and drive it.
Plus, why is the guy selling it? If he's selling it to buy a rustang or a riceburner, he's not going to do so with my money. lolNick H.

He could be selling it becuse he can't afford 2 cars anymore? or maybe they have a family now, or many of other reasons. I saw 1 ad. Guy was selling his Firebird becuse it was a manual and he was involved in a work related accident and can't drive a manual anymore. Lot's of things could cause him selling it. That does seem way over priced. Just go to cars.com and you can find some F-bodies for under $10k with under 100k miles on them.

Guys do the math here...Originally posted by thursday12889On the first page of the automobiles in the new michigan auto & RV. Red, 6 spd., ws6, around 15000 miles and only $14,000 bucks.
2006-1996 = 10 years
15000 Miles / 10 Years = 1500 Miles / Year Very LOW MILEAGE EVEN FOR AN LT1!!!
When any car has that low of miles I'd expect it to be about that much. Thats is less than half or what the 1st owner paid for the car. These cars originally went for about $30,000. Thats is a fair price imo. This car would require very little maintenance with an original motor and trans with 15K on it. I would rather buy a car that I don't have to spend months working to rebuild just so I can drive it!

everyone says you can buy a high mileage ls1 car for cheap, but usually high mileage means alot of little things like the underside isn't looking like you'd like it, tons of scratches and swirl marks, interior pieces broken, seats worn out, speakers sound like shit, door shuts funny, headlight motors, transmission, etc. Thats why I think this 96 is worth 15000 bucks. Less of those things above.

Seems to me that you can get an LS1 for that...
